The brief was simple, to reward and inspire the team of real estate directors with a destination incentive conference that offered a perfect blend of professional development, team bonding and luxury experiences. Their goal? Create unforgettable moments that celebrate success while strengthening team culture — all in one of the most stunning cities in the Southern Hemisphere: Auckland, New Zealand.

Day one

Guests arrived in Auckland and checked in at the centrally located Voco Hotel, known for its modern charm and city views. The group of 25 settled in with a warm welcome dinner at Origine, a modern kiwi bistro showcasing local flavours, perched above the harbour. With a private mezzanine space, the team had a chance to relax, reconnect and soak up views overlooking Waitemata Harbour.

 

Day two

After a relaxed breakfast, day two began with engaging visits to leading real estate agencies across Auckland. These tailored experiences provided the Hodges team with new perspectives on market trends and business models within New Zealand’s property sector.

 

Later that afternoon, the group headed to Dr Rudi’s Rooftop Bar & Brewery — famous for its harbour views, house-brewed beers, and social atmosphere. The group enjoyed rooftop drinks and a relaxed grazing dinner of 3ft pizzas and shared platters. The indoor bowling lanes were certainly a highlight with an unforgeta-bowl (like what we did there?) competitive twist.

 

Day three

Day three kicked off with a morning conference session at Voco, offering a chance to reflect on learnings and set goals for the year ahead. After a relaxed lunch, the group boarded a ferry bound for Waiheke Island, a place known for its wine, coastline and unforgettable views.

 

The first stop was Mudbrick Vineyard for a private wine tasting and guided cellar tour. Guests sampled three estate-grown wines while enjoying stories from their expert Cellar Master. From there, we continued to Wild Estate, where they took part in archery and laser clay shooting among the vines — a crowd favourite!

 

To cap off an incredible day, the team enjoyed a private farewell dinner at The Oyster Inn, a beachside bistro in Oneroa Village with stunning bay views and coastal charm, before heading back to the mainland on the ferry.

 

Day four

On their final day, early risers took part in a morning of golf at Formosa Golf Resort — a lush course with ocean views, located just outside Auckland. A great way to unwind and connect before heading home, this optional activity was the perfect send-off.

 

This Auckland incentive trip delivered the ideal mix of learning, networking and celebration. From vineyard adventures to rooftop games, every detail was crafted to create deeper team connections and unforgettable experiences, leaving the team feeling recharged, rewarded and inspired for what’s next.
