HODGES REAL ESTATE // Fiji Directors Conference

As part of the annual Hodges Directors Conference, RUSH events received a brief to source a destination and schedule that would connect their team. Fiji, with its alluring warmth of a tropical island, was the perfect amount of work, relax and excitement.

Arriving late on the Sunday afternoon, our 30 guests were welcomed with a cultural extravaganza on the Meke Lawn at the Sofitel, Denarau; including a traditional Fijian feast, a warrior welcome and performance and the obligatory Kava ceremony.

The following morning we the opened the formalities of the conference with a half day session.  After lunch, guests boarded a yacht en route to a private island for relaxation, water activities and the chance to spend quality time with their fellow Directors.  Leaving the island late in the afternoon, the group was then taken to a luxury villa with views back out over the ocean.  Overlooking the infinity pool and the stunning afternoon sunset, guests enjoyed a three course dinner and the late night acoustic entertainment saw the group let their hair down and hit the dance floor.

The third day was a full day conference session at the Sofitel with a final cocktail dinner party by the beach, topped off with a Polynesian fire show.  The conference program wrapped up the final morning, before flying home to Australian waters in the late afternoon on Wednesday.
